Terms and Conditions for the Purchase and Sale of Goods in the MUKUTIS.LT Online Store
1. General Provisions
1.1The sale of goods in the online store MUKUTIS.LT is organized and carried out by UAB “SPAUSTUKAS” (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller” in these Terms and Conditions), legal entity code 304955936, registered office at Partizanų g. 26, LT-50219 Kaunas, tel. +370 655 70999, email:info@mukutis.lt
1.2These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “Terms”), upon acceptance by the Buyer (by reviewing the Terms and continuing with registration or placing an order), constitute a legally binding document for the parties, setting forth the rights and obligations of the Buyer and the Seller, the terms and conditions for the purchase and payment of goods, the procedure for delivery and return of goods, the liability of the parties, the protection of personal data, and other provisions related to the purchase and sale of goods in the MUKUTIS.LT online store.
1.3The Buyer may purchase goods from the Store only after reviewing the Terms and agreeing to comply with and abide by them. The Buyer is encouraged to review the Terms each time they make a purchase. If the Buyer places orders in the Store, it is deemed that they have read the Terms, understood them, and agreed to them. The Buyer’s consent to the Terms is clearly expressed by checking the consent box on the registration and order form. Upon fulfillment of the requirements set forth in the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions become a purchase and sale agreement between the Buyer and the Seller.
1.4The Seller reserves the right to amend, revise, or supplement these Terms and Conditions at any time. Buyers expressly agree to the amended or supplemented Terms and Conditions by checking the consent box on the order form. The version of the Terms and Conditions to which the Buyer agreed when placing an order in the online store shall apply to the Buyer; if the Terms and Conditions are amended or supplemented during the fulfillment of the order, the order will be completed, and all rights and obligations of the Seller and the Buyer (related to payment for goods, delivery, returns, etc.) will be determined in accordance with the version of the Terms and Conditions that the Buyer has reviewed and to which they have expressed their consent.
1.5Only legally competent individuals and legal entities are eligible to make purchases in our online store.
1.6Buyers’ personal data is processed in accordance with the Seller’s privacy policy. Before using the online store, as well as when ordering and purchasing goods, the Buyer must review the privacy policy.
2. Entry into force of the purchase and sale agreement
2.1The contract between the Buyer and the Seller is deemed to have been concluded from the moment the Buyer, having selected the item(s) to be purchased, added them to the shopping cart, provided the necessary purchase details, and reviewed the Terms and Conditions, clicks the “Order” button, and makes an advance payment, if the Buyer has selected this payment method.
2.2Every purchase and sale agreement concluded between the Buyer and the Seller is registered and stored in the MUKUTIS.LT online store database in accordance with the procedures established by law.
3. Buyer’s Rights and Obligations
3.1The Buyer has the right to purchase goods from the MUKUTIS.LT online store in accordance with the procedures set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
3.2The Buyer agrees to pay the agreed price for the goods and their delivery within the time limit specified in these Terms and Conditions, and to accept the ordered goods in accordance with the procedure set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
3.3If the information provided in the Buyer’s registration form changes, the Buyer must update it immediately. Each time the Buyer places an order, they must provide the correct information necessary to fulfill the order or verify the accuracy of this information stored in the Buyer’s account.
3.4The Buyer agrees not to disclose their login credentials or order details to third parties, as such information would allow them to access or retrieve the Buyer’s order without the Buyer’s knowledge. If the Buyer loses their login credentials, they must immediately notify the Seller using the contact methods specified in these Terms and Conditions or in the “Contact Us” section of the online store.
3.5By using the MUKUTIS.LT online store, undertakes to comply with these Terms and Conditions, not to violate the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and not to use the online store in a manner that would jeopardize the operation of the online store, the Seller’s business, or other persons wishing to purchase goods from the Seller.
3.6Upon delivery of the goods, the Buyer must inspect the condition of the shipment and verify that the delivered goods are complete (in the correct assortment) together with the Seller or the Seller’s authorized representative (courier). If it is not possible to inspect the delivered goods at the time of delivery, the Buyer shall inspect the goods as soon as possible after delivery and notify the Seller of any damage to the shipment, clearly visible defects in the goods, or discrepancies in the model or configuration of the goods compared to the Buyer’s order.
4. Seller's Rights and Obligations
4.1If the Buyer attempts to compromise the stability or security of the online store or breaches their obligations, the Seller has the right to immediately and without notice restrict or suspend the Buyer’s access to the online store or, in exceptional cases, cancel the Buyer’s registration.
4.2In the event of significant circumstances, the Seller may suspend the operation of the online store temporarily or indefinitely without prior notice to the Buyer. Orders placed by the Buyer prior to the Seller’s notification of the suspension or termination of the online store’s operations shall be fulfilled in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
4.3The Seller has the right to cancel the Buyer’s order without prior notice if the Buyer, having selected a non-cash prepayment method, fails to pay for the goods within 1 (one) business day.
4.4If any ambiguities arise regarding the information provided in the order, the Seller has the right to contact the Buyer via the phone number and email address specified in the order. If the deficiencies in the order are substantial and prevent the Seller from fulfilling the order without clarification, and the Seller is unable to contact the Buyer by phone or email within 1 (one) business day (the Buyer does not answer the specified phone number or does not respond to the email within 1 (one) business day), the Seller has the right to cancel the order, notifying the Buyer thereof by email.
4.5The Seller agrees to provide the Buyer with access to the services offered by the MUKUTIS.LT online store in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions and on the online store.
4.6The Seller agrees to deliver the goods ordered by the Buyer to the address specified by the Buyer and in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
4.7If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Seller is unable to deliver the ordered goods to the Buyer, the Seller undertakes to offer the Buyer a substitute product. If the Buyer refuses to accept the substitute product or if no substitute product is available, the Seller undertakes to refund the money paid by the Buyer within 30 calendar days, provided that advance payment was made. In this case, the Seller is released from liability for failure to deliver the goods.
4.8The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer’s right to privacy regarding the personal information provided in the online store registration form, except in cases provided for by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
5. Product prices, payment procedures, and terms
5.1Product prices in the online store and in the order form are listed in euros, including VAT. Products are sold to the Buyer at the prices in effect at the time the order is placed. The Seller reserves the right to change product prices. Revised product prices apply to orders placed after the price change.
5.2The Buyer shall pay for the goods using one of the following methods (at the time of purchase, the order form will present the Buyer with a choice of all or some of the payment methods listed below; the Seller does not undertake to ensure that the Buyer will have the option to pay using all of the listed methods during every purchase):
5.2.1Payment by bank transfer is a prepayment method whereby the Buyer prints out the order, goes to the nearest bank branch, or simply uses online banking to transfer the funds to the MUKUTIS.LT bank account.
5.2.2Payment by credit card or via the BankLink service is a prepayment method whereby the Buyer transfers funds to the MUKUTIS.LT bank account using an online banking system.
5.2.3Payment upon delivery or pickup of goods:
5.2.3.1The Buyer pays the courier delivering the goods in cash or by credit card.
5.2.3.2The buyer pays for the goods by credit card (or in cash, if the parcel locker supports this option) upon picking up the package at the parcel locker.
5.2.3.3The buyer shall pay for the goods in cash upon pickup at the seller’s place of business.
5.3When making payment in accordance with the methods specified in Sections 5.2.1 or 5.2.2, the Buyer agrees to pay immediately, but no later than within 1 (one) business day. In such cases, the shipment of the goods will only be prepared and the delivery period will only begin to run upon receipt of payment for the goods. If the Buyer fails to make payment on time, it shall be deemed that the Buyer has refused to purchase the goods, and the Seller shall have the right to cancel the Buyer’s order without prior notice to the Buyer.
5.4When making payment using the methods specified in Section 5.2.3.3, the Buyer agrees to pay immediately, but no later than within 1 (one) business day. If the Buyer fails to pay for the goods on time, it shall be deemed that the Buyer has refused to purchase the goods, and the Seller shall have the right to cancel the Buyer’s order without prior notice to the Buyer.
5.5The Buyer’s order will be processed and the delivery period will begin only after the Seller receives confirmation of the Buyer’s payment. If payment (except for cash payment upon delivery) is received on a business day by 12:00 PM, this day is counted as the first day of order fulfillment. If payment is received after 12:00 p.m. (including on weekends or holidays), then the first day for order fulfillment and the start of the delivery period is the next business day.
5.6The Seller may set a minimum order amount, i.e., the lowest total amount for which the Buyer must purchase goods. The minimum order amount is displayed in the online store before the order is placed.
6. Delivery of Goods
6.1The goods are delivered by the Seller or its authorized representative. The Buyer selects the delivery method from the options listed in the online store.
6.2The delivery time for each item is clearly stated in the product description provided in the online store. The Seller undertakes to deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the delivery times specified in the product descriptions. These deadlines do not apply in cases where the Seller does not have the required goods in stock and the Buyer is informed of the shortage of the goods they ordered. In such a case, the Seller undertakes to contact the Buyer immediately and coordinate the delivery of the goods.At the same time, the Buyer agrees that, in exceptional cases, delivery of the goods may be delayed due toforce majeurecircumstances. When the Buyer picks up the goods in person, the Buyer is notified of the possibility to pick up the goods via the contact information provided by the Buyer.
6.3When ordering goods, the Buyer agrees to specify the exact delivery address.
6.4The Buyer agrees to accept the goods in person. In the event that the Buyer is unable to accept the goods in person, and the goods have been delivered to the specified address and in accordance with other information provided by the Buyer, the Seller or its representative shall have the right to hand over the goods to any person located at the address specified by the Buyer, and the Buyer shall have no right to make any claims against the Seller regarding the delivery of the goods to an unauthorized person.
6.5Upon delivery of the goods, the Buyer must, together with the Seller or the Seller’s authorized representative, inspect the condition of the shipment, as well as the quantity, quality, and assortment of the goods. If damage to the shipment’s packaging is detected upon delivery, but no discrepancies in the quantity, quality, or assortment of the goods are found, the Buyer shall note the damage to the shipment’s packaging on the delivery confirmation or on the forms provided by the person who delivered the shipment. In such a case, it shall be deemed that the goods were delivered in damaged packaging, but the quantity, quality, and assortment of the goods comply with the terms of the purchase and sale agreement, and the delivery of the goods was performed properly. Once the Buyer has signed the invoice (waybill) or another shipment transfer-acceptance document, the shipment is deemed to have been transferred in proper condition. If a discrepancy in the quality, quantity, and/or assortment of the goods is identified, the Buyer may refuse to accept such goods. The Buyer must note the refusal to accept the goods and any defects found on the delivery confirmation and/or the forms provided by the person who delivered the shipment.
6.6 The shipping fee is listed in the online store and is also clearly displayed to the Buyer on every order form.
6.7If it is not possible to deliver the ordered goods in a single shipment, MUKUTIS.LT reserves the right to deliver the goods in multiple shipments.
6.8In all cases, the Seller shall be exempt from liability for failure to meet delivery deadlines if the goods are not delivered to the Buyer or are delivered late due to the Buyer’s fault or circumstances attributable to the Buyer. Goods returned to the Seller for such reasons will not be reshipped to the Buyer until the Buyer pays the additional delivery costs.
6.9If the sales contract provides for the shipment of goods and the Seller ships the goods to the Buyer, the risk of accidental loss or damage to the goods passes to the Buyer when the Buyer or a person designated by the Buyer, other than the carrier, accepts the goods. If the goods are handed over to a carrier chosen by the Buyer, and the Seller did not offer such delivery, the risk provided for in this section passes to the Buyer when the goods are handed over to the carrier.
7. Product Quality Guarantee and Returns
7.1Returns of goods are handled in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, Order No. 258 of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania dated August 17, 2001 “On the Approval of Rules for the Sale of Goods and Provision of Services When Contracts Are Concluded Using Means of Communication,” and Order No. 217 of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania dated June 29, 2001, “On the Approval of Rules for the Return and Exchange of Goods.”
7.2The characteristics of each product sold on MUKUTIS.LT are specified in the product description provided for each item.

7.4The Seller shall not be liable if the color, shape, or other parameters may not correspond to the actual size, shape, and color of the goods due to the characteristics of the display used by the Buyer or other technical reasons, as well as taking into account reasonably possible discrepancies in appearance.
7.5Exchanges and returns of goods must be made within 14 days of the order being delivered and upon receipt of a written request from the Buyer (via emailto info@mukutis.lt), which must include the order number, a list of the goods to be returned or exchanged, and the reason for the return or exchange.
7.6If the buyer wishes to return an item that is in good condition, the buyer is responsible for repackaging it and covering the shipping costs.
7.7A returned item in good condition must be in its original, undamaged packaging, not damaged by the Buyer, and must retain its original appearance (labels intact, protective film not removed, etc.), and must be in the same configuration as when received by the Buyer, and must be accompanied by the proof of purchase and the warranty card (if issued).
7.8If the wrong item and/or a defective item is returned, the Seller agrees to replace such items with similar ones or, at the Buyer’s request, to refund the amount paid for the item(s). The Seller shall cover the shipping costs.
7.9The Seller reserves the right to refuse to accept goods returned by the Buyer if the Buyer fails to comply with the return procedure set forth in this section.
7.10Unless otherwise specified in the product description, the product comes with a 2-year warranty.
8. Liability
8.1The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the registration form. The Buyer assumes responsibility for any consequences arising from incorrect or inaccurate information provided in the registration form.
8.2The Buyer is responsible for any actions taken while using this online store.
8.3The Buyer is responsible for any disclosure of their login credentials to third parties. If a third party uses the services provided by MUKUTIS.LT by logging into the online store using the Buyer’s login credentials, the Seller shall consider that person to be the Buyer.
8.4The Seller shall be exempt from any liability in cases where losses arise because the Buyer, disregarding the Seller’s recommendations and its own obligations, failed to familiarize itself with these Terms and Conditions, even though it was given the opportunity to do so.
8.5If the Seller’s online store contains links to the websites of other companies, institutions, organizations, or individuals, the Seller is not responsible for the information or activities on those sites, does not supervise or control those websites, and does not represent those companies or individuals.
8.6In the event of damage, the party at fault shall compensate the other party for the direct losses incurred.
9. Exchange of information
9.1The Seller shall send all notifications to the email address provided by the Buyer in the registration form.
9.2The Buyer shall send all notifications and inquiries by email toinfo@mukutis.lt
10. Final Provisions
10.1These rules have been drawn up in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
10.2The relationships arising under these rules shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
10.3Any disputes arising from the implementation of these rules shall be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement can be reached, disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
